Positive EV

NBA is one of the best leagues for positive EV betting. Each positive EV bet, is not a gamble, but rather a mathematically backed investment taking advantage of inefficiencies in the market.

After ~50 games in the 2023/24 season, based on a 1% EV threshold (i.e. bets over 1% EV), demonstrates the potential for significant returns. A $100 better could be up by ~90 units - that's a whopping $9,000 in winnings!

However, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. To reap the rewards of Positive EV betting, you must be prepared to place numerous bets and withstand the inevitable downswings. Our data shows that 'under' bets faced a nearly $2,000 decline after 500 bets. But this is where strategy and persistence pay off. Additionally, after ~100 bets, over betters were up 60 units to only proceed to lose al profits over the next 900 bets.

Positive EV is a great way to make money in the long-run betting - however it requires proper bankroll management, patience and discipline.
